Christianity has lost its relevance.
Are you shocked?
Why?
Church attendance is at an all-time low in America. Attendance has been dropping every year for the last 50 years in the U.S. The reason: church was not relevant to the lives of those attending.
Now, before you pick up the phone to see if maybe the Inquisition would like to come pay me a visit and straighten out my thinking, please note: I think Jesus Christ is very relevant today.
But much of Christianity - or maybe we should call it “Churchianity” - has lost its way (or so it seems to me).
The Savior of all mankind (Jesus), however, is just as relevant as He ever was.
He changes lives. Heals the sick. Comforts the broken-hearted. Saves souls.
This site will be (God willing) and exploration of how He does that, and how we can all share in what He’s doing. He wants us to. He has a place for us in the work that must be done.
This blog is one way for me to do my part.

If you’d like to just “lurk” for a bit and see what this is all about, that’s fine too: we’re just getting started.
